Community Access

For children and young adults, community participation and engagement are key to their growth and well-being. When they interact with the world around them, they develop their curiosity, interests and outlook towards life. At Rainbow Butterflies, we understand this and, therefore, bring active opportunities for community engagement on a regular basis. We will help them build meaningful connections within their local communities, promote social inclusion and develop a sense of belonging.

Through our Community Access program, your children will –

• Explore new environments and, through varying experiences, develop their skills and enhance their confidence.
• Participate in various community-based activities, such as outings, sports, art, and local events that could help them identify their interests.

• Interact with their peers and community to develop social, communication and life skills and lay the foundation for a strong and supportive peer network.

Our support workers work closely with each child, offering one-on-one support and ensuring their well-being. They will accompany your children for their choice of activities, whether shopping, sports, hobbies, visiting a library, or simply taking a break to visit a café. The nature of the Community Access service will depend on your child's specific interests and needs.
