Organizing exciting fortnightly community outings where children can explore new places, build friendships, and develop social skills through shared experiences.
Our Fortnightly Community Saturday Outings offer all NDIS participants an excellent opportunity to step out of the comfort of their homes and schools and explore new avenues. They get a chance to engage with their local community and help build meaningful relationships. At Rainbow Butterflies, we understand the importance of providing children with a breath of fresh air. By exploring new environments, they will be able to expand their horizons and find new opportunities.
During our Fortnightly Community Saturday Outings, children visit nearby parks, local attractions, shopping centres, museums, or other community spaces. Our support workers will always be with them to ensure their well-being.
Through our Fortnightly Community Saturday Outings, we promote –
- Social engagement: Meet peers, interact with others, and practice social skills in real-world settings.
- Skill development: Help children enhance key life skills while having fun.
- Independence: As children navigate new environments, they develop a sense of independence and autonomy.
- Recreation: An outing can be a great way to break the everyday monotony and create a sense of recreation and relaxation.
